Woodland Hills, Sharp County is a private subdivision of historic Hardy, Arkansas. Hardy is at the junction of Highway 62 and Highway 412 in north central Arkansas, just fifteen miles from the Missouri border and 140 miles from Memphis Tennessee, and Little Rock Arkansas. This is a fresh air Ozark Mountain resort retirement community with two private spring-fed lakes.

The Spring River, which flows through Hardy, is created by nearby Mammoth Spring, one of the world's largest natural springs. Mammoth provides a continuous flow of cool trout lovin' clear waters and year 'round canoeing. (With a few small waterfalls just to spice up your afternoon!) In addition to rainbow trout, Spring River hosts walleye and smallmouth bass. Canoe rentals are available. South Fork, a tributary of Spring River, flows through 13,000 acre Cherokee Village. Strawberry River, a nearby spring-fed stream is great for floating and rafting. There are fourteen lakes and two rivers near Woodland Hills.
